High Powered Hub Motor
Pre-laced into 18'' Motorcycle Rims
Intended for Stealth Bomber Style E-Bike Builds (or similar)

The QS205 V3TI is the highest spec motor in its size and class. This 3000W motor can push 10+KW when paired with Statorade (ferrofluid) and even more with Hub Sinks. We regularly run these at 12KW in our Stealth Bomber Builds and they hold up great!

This particular model is the "Wide Axle" variant, it has a wider 170mm dropout, intended for our Stealth Bomber Frames (and also lends itself well to other fat tire builds). The most important part of this longer axle is that it allows to accommodate a normal nut + lock nut. This is super imporant! Keeping a motor secure especially when using regenerative braking can be tricky. The added axle length also can accommodate a trailer hookup as well.

In the past we used the standard 150mm dropout variant of this motor and there was barely enough threads to engage the nut on each side, this custom ordered variant solves that problem and also makes it much easier to install, since spacers to fill the 170mm dropout are no longer needed.

The 4T winding variant is a nice mix between torque and speed. With a 72V battery, over 100km/hr can be reached and even more with advanced controllers using field weakening. Yet the torque is still very strong. We found the 5T was just a bit limiting in speed as it would top out around 80km/hr before field weakening, the 4T seems to be the sweet spot.

Great motors! This is the little brother to the QS273 which has about twice the weight, and is much more prone to breaking rims because of this weight. For a 10KW - 12KW ebike build, these are perfect. If you're going bigger than that, consider running the larger QS273 motor.
